2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

Subwoofer

My wifes 2008 sport has harmon kardon fitted, but when you adjust the subwoofer setting, nothing changes soundwise, do they all have a sub fitted or was it an option?

If you're sure the vehicle is fitted with a HARMAN/KARDON speaker system then it should be one if these:

The High Line HARMAN/KARDON Audio system
. The system comprises:
• Integrated Head Unit (IHU) Head unit
• Two front door mounted mid/bass range speakers (one per side)
• Two front door mounted tweeters (one per side)
• Two rear door mounted mid/bass range speakers (one per side)
• Two rear door mounted tweeters (one per side)
• A sub-woofer located in the lower tailgate
• An audio amplifier located under the front RH seat.

The Premium Audio system HARMAN/KARDON LOGIC7
The system comprises:
• Integrated Head Unit (IHU) Head unit
• Two front door mounted mid range speakers (one per side)
• Two front door mounted bass speakers (one per side)
• Two front door mounted tweeters (one per side)
• Two rear door mounted mid/bass range speakers (one per side)
• Two rear door mounted tweeters (one per side)
• A sub-woofer located in the lower tailgate
• Two rear surround speakers
• One center fill speaker located in the center of the instrument panel
• Premium amplifier.

Both have sub-woofer Malaysia Boleh!

Thanks guys, I have put my ear to the inside of the tailgate and I can just hear it working, not very loud though, is this normal?

Subwoofers don't make a lot of sound more move volumes of air that why you can fit them anywhere and there's also no grill like on the other speakers 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Mine is like that. Even with a grill it would be poor.
