I will have to get the battery first, maybe next week, but it doesn't look that difficult really.
Just wanted to get everything clear before I attempted it.

Yes, that's fine. When not removing the battery, plastic bottle caps can be useful to put over the terminals.

Okay, battery arrrived this morning from Tayna, discount code worked, thanks Lost for Words.

Fitted battery this afternoon, all went smoothly, reconnected and reset date & clock.

Started okay, everything looks like it should, haven't taken it for a run yet, hopefully all will be okay now.
