Hi we have a 2006 r/sport with no blue tooth,we have bought and fitted a VUB501151 harness & XVJ500420 BT module,lift the green paddle and it cuts off the radio,we can not connect to blue tooth either

No the garage who fitted it a Landrover garage said it should not be necessary, how do we get it enabled,thanks for the reply

I think it may be the case that the aftermarket kit doesn't need it, but the factory fit module will do.

A suitable diagnostic tool is required to edit the correct options in the CCF. When you say a Land Rover garage, do you mean an actual main dealer? I'm not sure if these settings are among those locked out in SDD (LR's own dignostic system), so if they are (I suspect they are), it needs to be an alternative system (e.g. Autologic, IID, Fautmate etc.). If it's an indy, I'd go back to them and see if they can do it.

Disco_Mikey covers Scotland and could enable it for you, but Lewis would certainly be a bit of a way off.
