2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Jesus, Im lucky. Power Steering heavy

Well, we've had the car 2 weeks. second hand 2007 2.7 HSE and the power steering has become really stiff.

Its booked into Stratstones on Friday so we will see how good the 3 month warranty that comes with the car is.

I have to pay diagnosis of the fault but hope its all covered after that.

Any one had this issue?

Did you buy it from the same dealer?

Did you take it back to the supplying dealer,surely they should be sorting it out for you D MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

It was purchased from a non Land Rover dealer and they don't provide Servicing etc.

Would rather have Land Rover stealer looking at it to be honest, don't mind paying for fault finding aslong as its quick, seems steering issues is quite comon with Disco 3's and RRS's

I would still tell the LR service centre to stuff their diagnostic charge. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Well theve ordered a servo pump or something £250 + vat so not the end of the world

While your selling dealer may not "do" servicing they can't escape their liability for ensuring the car meets the legal requirement of being "Fit for Purpose"; they must meet any costs, certainly for everything inside 3 months and most stuff for 12 months

Give them the details of the LR dealer's cost and they must reimburse you your expenses.

This was years ago guys, the cost was covered by a warranty but came in at a couple of grand I think.
