Any advice on judder when accelerating?

Hi to all - I am new to the forum and wonder if any of you could help.
I have a Range Rover Sport 2005 HSE. I have a judder when accelerating, especially uphill and reading through the forum people have had a mega gearbox flush that has solved the problem. Any thoughts please. Mileage is 108,000 approx and has never had a gearbox flush as far as I know.

A gearbox oil change (megaflush) can temporarily fix a judder but sometimes you'll need to change the torque converter for a perminant fix.

The coat of a new torque converter from Vanmatic is about £450 inc vat. It's about 8 -10 hours labour to fit it. You'd fill the transmission with new oil at the same time. Total cost about £1000

No not had the problem however had a recent gearbox service and saw Disco Mikey and some other guys recomend to put this in as part of the gearbox service. I think they use it when they do a mega flush which I think is about £350.

Might work might not but worth a try. Depends how severe your shuddering is I supose.

Aparently easiest way to put it in is when gearbox is warm and up to temp. Running? Not sure.

Bodsy or Disco Mikey are the autobox experts on here. I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

If its only mild shudder a couple of tubes of that might help. A gearbox flush from Bodsy will deffinately help.
Its great thanks, effectively just a HSE with a sunroof and Logic 7 I think Smile I much proffer the looks of the HST. My sort of style. I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

If you have a judder, an additive will mask the issues, but it's time to start saving for a gearbox rebuild...

These gearboxes should be flushed between 50-75k miles, depending on use. Any longer, and you will start causing irreparable damage to the box...

Disco Mikey,

My autobox had new oild and the filter I believe it is. Is that enough? It was done within the last 6 months at a garage. I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

I would add, If you are not able to get it flushed, then you should at least change the gearbox oil a few times. e.g. Make the gearbox oil change part of your annual service In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.
