Is there a Need? No, but having run my car for a couple of months on the front V8's only, (which improved the braking instantly) when I did the rears, it really made a difference overall.

The car doesn't do it when it's cold eg when the brakes are first used |

That's cos the discs are cold and haven't distorted. Once they build up heat they move which points to something seized. Once a disc has distortion it will never go away so replace them along with the calipers. If you read back to the beginning if the thread, it was suggested you check runout or disc distortion, if you haven't then you will keep chasing your tail. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

If the kit is just the brackets and bolts then you need pair of discs, set of pads and two calipers. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

It comes with new caliper carriers, brembo discs and pads I was under the impression you left the original calipers on the car |

If the originals are Brembo then yes, but then you wouldn't need the kit.....so two calipers needed. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I've just spoke to advanced factors and the kit contains brembo brand discs and pads for non brembo cars and they will work with original calipers just need to change the carriers |

🙈 don't see the point in that. Having fitted a Brembo kit to our disco, which meant fitting discs and new calipers I m lost as to what the point of fitting discs and pads but retaining original calipers as they don't have as many pistons. Each to their own.... 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

^^^ - agreed. Surely the point of 'upgrading' to Brembo's is for the increased stopping power of the bigger calliper/more pistons. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

The disks are bigger than std, the caliper carriers move the pads further out, so braking power is improved along with cooling on the bigger disk.

That's the way I would go, bigger discs with two pot calliper makes zero sense, and doesn't increase braking efficiency, so having bigger discs is only for heat dissipation which no one needs unless towing down hill a lot 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
