I tried lowering mine, the ride is harsh and not very nice.

I dropped it to the floor and it was awful but ended up just adjusting it to -25mm lower which gave it a good balance.

I think I'm in love! LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch. |

I have had TDV6 (2.7) Disco 3 and a SDV6 (3.0) Disco 4. The 3.0 (6 speed box) was noticeably quicker so I wasn't expecting too much from the 3.0 SDV6 in the Sport despite the 8 speed box; how wrong I was! I tend to use the paddles with dynamic and sport selected and I keep surprising myself in the 20-70 mid range. It feels so much quicker (and imperceptibly quiet with it) unless you really nail it, when you get a decent grunt (albeit not a V8 grunt). I've had proper fast cars but this is just lovely - effortless. I tow a twin axle Swift Challenger 550 (pretty heavy) and don't really notice it except up really steep hills when the mpg drops into low single figures. I even towed my 10 ton traction engine with it a short distance in our yard - no problem. All in all it is more than fine and more economical too and less weight over the front end gives you a better (if not Evo 6 level!) turn in when pressing on. Good luck choosing! HSE Black - Orkney Grey, ivory leather, privacy glass, tow bar. GBNF - Discover 4 XS Nara Bronze (11); Discovery 3 HSE, Zermatt Silver (57); Discovery 3 HSE, Buckingham Blue (55); Volvo V70 Titanium SE (53); Audi A4 1.9 TDI SE, Denim Blue (02); Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6, Black (99-V); VW Corrado VR6, Red (92-K); Toyota MR2, Racing Green (94-M); Nissan Sunny GTI, Red (92-K); Mk1 Toyota MR2 T-bar, Red (89-G); Citroen AX GT, Red (87-E); Talbot Horizon, Snot Green (83-A, I think). |

Well....that's a no then. According to the "salesman", a 2009 Sport is worth £7800 more than a 2010 Vogue. That will be a no then, time to cast the net wider. What I did learn is that I couldn't live with V6 of any sort, so V8 it will be |

I've only had the sport six months so in trying to still get on with it. I'd have the overfinch wheels off it though ![]() |
