After owning my RRS for a few weeks now, I feel the only thing that lets its otherwise beautiful looks is the rusty looking brake calipers.
I have never been one for blinging etc, but thinking of just a sublte lick of black or silver paint would make all the difference.
Does any one know of a company that can do this around the Manchester area

Why don't you do it yourself. Wheel off, paint, wheel on, job done. My son did his on his and I had to show him how to change a wheel. As long as you give it long enough to dry before you drive then no problems. He bought a tin of spray paint and ended up using a brush. He just sprayed it into the lid as he went allong.  07 tdv8 stornoway grey at home tucked up

I don't like bling either but rusty calipers can spoil the otherwise good looks of the car, I agree. I got mine painted for the same reason. Grey or black calipers suit RRS. Red is for fast cars in my opinion. Whichever colour you go for, just make sure heat resistant paint is used. The fronts on mine are Brembos and the lettering got painted over so I ordered vinyl decals from eBay and put them on afterwards.

Sorry can't recommend anyone local to you but you really don't need a specialist for this job. Just steady hands if painting without removing the calipers.

It'd be worth rubbing down the inside of the disc and giving that a lick of black paint also.

Thanks, I have looked at doing this myself but worried I will it up, and make them look even worse.
Last time I painted it was a large wall and I ended up painting most of the carpet as well (Laurel & Hardy moment).
Having looked at other threads found a company in Nottingham, who take them off blead brakes etc, and do a proffesional finish for around £225, I thik this would be well worth it for long term happiness.

Any suggestions on colour??
Car is Bonatti Grey with diamond cut wheels, I was thinking copper may look good, but dont want to be to bling.

Once you start having to visit the dealer to get stuff fixed on it, the look of the calipers won't be an issue...  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks for that, I already have a great relationship with my local LR service manager, as this is my second RRS.
There has been the odd tear, fight and a bit of wrestling in the showroom over the years, but as he says every time I have a problem... At least I get a free valet.

Painted mine red as I thought the very same thing, grubby old looking callipers, must paint, think they look fab now, I've posted some pic in other threads, happy to repost if you like? If you've got it, spend it!
