A Good Blast

Spent the weekend at my friends in Burghield Common - truly awsome pad.

Last couple of pics were taken earlier this year.

He took great delight in showing me his latest investment - well the very nice glossy brochure anyway - having ordered some time ago a new Bentley GTC.......... Very Very nice....

Enough of all that....

I wanted to let all know how my Fighterbomber was performing

We left for home late Sunday night - M4 - A34 - M40 etc etc back to Nuneaton. Great Journey - wife and kids asleep - sat at 99.9mph most of the way home [ at least its below 100mph thus no instant ban

]
So .... I hear you say

.............. well ... to my amazement I watched my fuel consumption improve

This is such a great motorway vehicle - it just eats miles !

It really loves to sit there doing 90 at just under 2500 revs. But to be honest at greater speeds you are very - very aware of the size of the RRS and the speed you are doing. I have been in many sports cars where @ 100mph - you just dont know you are doing it

Also must have spotted a dozen sports out and about. Guess what - all black or silver

Ok so the time has finally arrived = Booked it n for its 1st service on Monday 30th Oct. It was actually 1yr old on the 16th sept but I have only done 10700 miles

I have told them I would like the previously reported issue if the "knock" from the steering to be finally sorted!!! also I get vibration at 90mph so bad now that female rear seat passangers want me to go the extra mile

Cost for this a Trinity is fixed £268 + vat

ps. also getting them to do the fix for the front PDC [ stops false beeps ]

Good price, MDP... almost £60 cheaper than I paid for my 15k service. I'll be hitting the 30k service in the next 8-10 weeks I reckon. Hopefully it will be gone by then.
