2.7 td hse problems

hi all
Went to overtake with my RRS the other day and ENGINE SYSTEM FAULT flashed up then car slowed right down,pulled over stopped engine restarted and went about a mile and same thing happened again . Any ideas whats wrong

Hi ,The samre thing happend to me took it to the garage and found out it was the fuekl pump in the tank,,£350,, to replace,, sorry fella MARK

Probably not then, but if you had it would have been the first port of call (over fuelling)
