Parking sensors

Have a problem with the parking sensors

Get just a long tone, but no error messages or flashing light.

Been around the car and it sounds like all the sensors are clicking as far as I can tell.

What can I check next? Tdv8 range rover sport

Sounds like one is faulty somewhere. Have you got them very wet recently? A wet sensor will give what you describe.

The car been sat in the sun today and long beep has stop to little ones which then stops, they started working, but the tone cuts in and out.

With all the rain I guess they must be wet is there anything you can do to stop the water getting at them, a spray with wd40 Tdv8 range rover sport

Had exactly the same problem - during dry periods - not a problem as soon as it rained - intermittent fault. Eventually they will give up Big Cry its a common fault - they don't last forever. Another part to add to the consumables list Crying or Very sad
A decent fault reader will give you the location of the sensor - if it's the front I'm afraid it's a bumper off job - but not a dealer Very Happy anybody with a bit off bottle can have a go. Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Where the best place to get a code reader from. Does it tell you which one of the eight has gone ? Tdv8 range rover sport

Silly questions, if the sounder at the back is holding the long tone does that mean the rear sensors is at fault? Tdv8 range rover sport
