May I ask, if the actuator rod is sticking through corrosion, is there a way to clean these successfully?

The only long term fix, is to fit the modified actuator rod, and stainless bolt

However, it is a right PITA to do, so normally, the rod is drowned in penetrating oil, and worked up and down until free. Much easier to do, and as good as free to repair Thumbs Up
