Just make sure they ARE MP3's, and not any other sort of coding like AAC etc ('cos they won't play).

I'd read somewhere (I've forgotten where) that AAC tracks would play, so I ripped all my CD's to AAC, which took a couple of days, only to find (when I got the car) that they won't

I haven't been bothered to re-rip the CD's yet. RRS 4.2 S/C. Zermatt. Tints. Stormers. 150+ paint defects, wonkey bonnet, scratches, detached doorseal. suspension faults. To sum it up, a �60k pile of cr4p!

There's always the MP3 player via the AUX port option instead too.

My god, we're on a roll!!

Lung, yes... you can. The car has an 3.5mm AUX input on the rear of the central armrest "tunnel" - run the relevant lead between the two and hey presto! Beware of the volume differential though - you will have to turn the volume up on the head unit about 7 notches to get useful volume. This is all well and good as long as you don't have a route set in the Satnav or the phone connected to PTI.... you end up with bleeding ears then
