hey guys--new to the board--love all of your cars

im a current e46 m3 owner and ill be trading it in this fall for an 07 rr sport s/c--im hoping november if that timing is accurate

I will be utilizing the X plan and I was wondering if anyone here used this as well? trying to get an idea of what to expect-ive heard appx $3600 off sticker--

also, anyone know of any new colors being added--my current choices are 1.) java black
2.) chawton white
3.) atacama sand (which i was told is discontinued) any hav pices of this color btw?
all on ivory interior-

any new options? heard Sirius will be standard?

also, I do plan on modding it somewhat--i like the quad tips from overfinch-what other tuners are out there--coming from the m3, i found there too be so many aftermkt tuners, but most of which provided parts that had many fitment issues-

also-after doing some research ive read posts complaints about
1.) leaky sunroofs
2.)park distance issues
3.) noises from the engine (most likely expansion)
4.) loose headlights

anything else i should worry about--im sure many of these were one off issues, and if not were properly addressed by land rover--one of my main reason for waiting for year 2

i guess thats where Ill start--thanks for any help

I think that the Parking sensor problem has largely been sorted with later versions (the fronts don't switch on unless you engage reverse first (or press the button)).

I don't know about sunroofs (I haven't got one), my headlights are o.k. and the only engine noise from the CS is a great sound!

One thing I would look for is paint defects (a common problem, I have over 150 of them), oh, and panel alignment.

paint defect as in? orange peel or swirling or chipping?

ive heard of stories of damage at the ports and repainting? any idea what yours is caused by?
