Alternator on 2006 RRS 2.7 diesel

Hey Guys
Does anyone have any idear how to change the alterator on the above car?
I must be thick or something, but I can't see how to get at it

Remove the positive battery cable first


You then need to remove the air pipe from above the radiator, then the fan cover. Next remove the viscous fan with 33mm spanner and fan locking tool then you can see the alternator at the front lower left as you look at the car. 3 bolts and a cable, then the plug at the back.

Thanks guys
The alternator is now off. For those that don't know, you have to at least loosen the dynamic response pump as well

An alternator on an RRS with the DR system is a right pain in the Censored

Much easier on a non-DR TDV6 Thumbs Up
