Strange question my 2.7 has just had the glow plugs done and I carnt say I noticed before but the engine sounds like tappets are nocking abit I put some oil treatment through it went but the dam ticking is back has anybody else had this problem or is it me just been para lol Nice to be important but important to be Nice

Did the plugs come out OK or did they have the heads off?

No the head didn't come off mate but they did struggle to get one out and had to drill to get it out but as a precaution I also had a oil change straight after to be double safe  Nice to be important but important to be Nice

I would get it back to a garage pdq. Tapping tappets would indicate loss of oil pressure to the top end to me if all of a sudden they tap. I know v6 is bit noisey when cold but there shodnt be an audible tapping 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈

May be enough to put light out but not enough to keep tappets filled. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
