United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver
2010 MY Full Size Spare

I'm picking up a MY11 RRS HSE fitted with the std 15 spoke 20" wheels.

I currently have a full size 19" Spare ( Black D3 HSe style) Size 255/55/R19 on my D3 will this work as a spare for the RRS.

I should add the RRs is being fitted with the detachable tow bar ... which might make a difference ... to the storage 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world

Sorry i dont get it.

Why would you want to use the D3 spare...the RRS will come with its own! Mike

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Firenze Red

Just changed my 08 Sport HSE to 2011 HSE and the new vehicle came with a skinny space saver wheel as standard
My 08 Sport came with a 19" black near full size spare similar to a D3
Spoke with dealer and swapped the spare wheels over when I traded in.
Also my new vehicle is fitted with the detachable towpack from the factory SAME S**T DIFFERENT DAY

Thats the photo of my 2011 Spare - taken a few months ago, as far as ive come across that is what you should recieve on a HSE with the 20" wheels. Mike

Spoke to my dealer going to keep my 19" full size spare and put the space saver back on the D3 .. that way I'm covered both ways.

I get the feeling it might have this fitted

Just out of interest does the 20" fit in the bay underneathshould you need to change a spare wheel or does it need to go in the boot ? 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world

It will fit easily - infact if you put it in the boot it wouldnt fit.

If i was you i would wait to see what wheel the car comes with as i wouldnt want to keep the old D3 one, i would rather have the new RRS one.

Either way the 19" on a 20" wheeled car has to be changed and is limited to 50 as the size is wrong relative to the others.

The other things im not sure if its an issue - is will your old D3 one actually fit, im sure there has been some break caliper change which means you need to be careful with the size of 19" you get off road as the earlier ones dont fit over the brakes!

Just some pointers for you...last thing you want is to bin you RRS spare only to not actually have a spare that fits Rolling with laughter Mike

sorry should have been clearer going to take the RRS with the space saver and am keeping my 19" spare which is the same as your photo .... basically a 2004-2008 D3 HSE wheel in black.

I will put the space saver that i had for the D3 back on the D3. 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world
