Just changed my 08 Sport HSE to 2011 HSE and the new vehicle came with a skinny space saver wheel as standard

Thats the photo of my 2011 Spare - taken a few months ago, as far as ive come across that is what you should recieve on a HSE with the 20" wheels. Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |

Spoke to my dealer going to keep my 19" full size spare and put the space saver back on the D3 .. that way I'm covered both ways.

It will fit easily - infact if you put it in the boot it wouldnt fit. If i was you i would wait to see what wheel the car comes with as i wouldnt want to keep the old D3 one, i would rather have the new RRS one. Either way the 19" on a 20" wheeled car has to be changed and is limited to 50 as the size is wrong relative to the others. The other things im not sure if its an issue - is will your old D3 one actually fit, im sure there has been some break caliper change which means you need to be careful with the size of 19" you get off road as the earlier ones dont fit over the brakes! Just some pointers for you...last thing you want is to bin you RRS spare only to not actually have a spare that fits ![]() 2014 Facelift Discovery |
