There is a "Quote" button in the bottom right hand corner of each post. Click on that and it inserts the whole post into a "Post a reply" frame. You can then edit the post to remove any element you dont want to refer to (but be careful to leave the HTML [quote at the begining and quote] at the end of the text. Hope that's clear ..... ...ST, I've seen some that are a slightly brighter silver, and there are some that are a "Diamond cut and laquer finish" which are very bright.
I've not put mine side by side with OE's but they look exactly the same as the ones in the brochure. The castings are perfect....

...I was going to use one of the original 20 inchers as a spare, but the handbook says not to do this because it would damage the face of the alloy wheel. The spare should be a 19" with a higher profile tyre to keep the same overall diameter.

This is my concern. I saw a Java S/C with Stormers on the factory tour and they looked to be a brighter finish than the ones I've seen on eBay, but not as blinging bright as the diamond finish ones (Also on eBay)

This is why I might go for OE (And swallow the excessive price!)

Re spare, are you saying then that the standard 19" spare os ok?

Jay, with your dynamic pack, what size/wheel is your spare?

Jay, you may need to book it in! All you need is insurance papers and the V5 logbook thing if it's the 1st MOT, if it isn't the first MOT then you will need the certificate from the last time. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

HAHA.. yeah i know mate.. i try not to let a car get to its first service interval.. i was seriously interested in a porsche 911 997 C2S earlier in the year, purely because the first service isn't due til 20k miles or something.. seemed favourable that i could get in and out of it within 12 months and never pay a service bill.. just a little phobia i have.. giving dealers money for anything apart from a car! Haven't serviced the last two cars i've owned, not out of sheer laziness or not looking after my motors, just that they didn't ever need then, last two cars i only kept for 9 months and then 8 months for the RRS..

Jaymann.. try getting a 1984 Merc 500SEC Mot'd!! now thats a feat....
i have all our cars Mot'd by a family friend mechanic.. he is very thorough and gives us ample time to get things rectified and avoids letting them fail etc.. like his proactive approach..
where u going to take ur SL to get Mot'd? Merc or dodgy back street geezer?

Yes, the cars that come with 20" wheels have a 19" alloy as a spare.
