Not necessarily. I'm 6' and for years bought 18.5"/19" frames - always suffered aches after long rides. About 6 months ago I borrowed a friends 17" Carbon Giant - the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden and now own it. In theory its too small, but with the correct stem length, seat position and fork rack etc it makes long rides enjoyable again. I'd recommend going to a reputable bike shop and px'g it - any 'decent' shop will do a good deal |

this is why i kind of mentioned "salary sacrifice", i wasnt held to the maximum amount of £1000, and my company is too small to bother with the cycle2work paperwork, in theory i could buy a hot tub under the same heading.............if i could convince IR it is beneficial to the company!!! cheers dave MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged ![]() Gone: a comprehensive list of imprezas and a Merc ML AMG |

I have a Specialised Rockhopper (MTB) but I started to do a lot of road miles so I also bought a Specialized Sirius 'hybrid' and it really is so much easier to ride. Even with road wheels/tyres on the MTB it's still hard work on the road. You should be able to get a decent price for the MTB on eBay. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

I wonder if the buyer is off here.......they will be well happy at the price relative to the original £275 advertised here if they are.
