It should demist automatically unless the 'vent' tube is blocked. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

There is a bulletin out concerning headlight misting on MY10 models.

Dealers are advised that misting/fogging of the lens can be expected and this is acceptable at any level providing it does not grow to the point where water droplets form and run down the inside of the lens. Lamps that do show misting/fogging will usually clear given time with no adverse effect.

However, if the headlamp shows signs of water droplets or the misting does not clear when the vehicle is left overnight, the headlamp should be changed.

Check with your dealer if this is applicable to your 08 model too. Malaysia Boleh!

Hi , yes mine has water droplets in the inside and also about 3mm of water sitting at the bottom of the lense , i have taken light out and empted water , but still missed up quite bad , how did the water get in ....... went through big puddle the other day , did water gush into the light unit through the vents on the light ??

Took to dealer , i think they are going to put a new one in , noticed under the wheel arch , two open holes about 3-4mm each one , as though a grummet was missing from each one this is the same on both sides , should the holes have grummets in ?

Strange ......
