Ordered mine 9 weeks ago today for an apparent 8 week delivery, and now looks like I have to wait till the start of next month. I know it's not long but I want it now  Said RRS is now on order.

9 weeks is NOTHING! My delivery time is about 16 weeks! I was told I should get it in about 12-14 weeks that's end of May, but the signed agreement says latest delivery by 30 June. The agent said "Well, let's put delivery on 30 June, just in case (that is +4 1/2 weeks after the date I was told I should get it). So guess what, I am getting mine on 28 June! LOL Vadim A.

Aaarrrghhh! Today they phone me and now are saying the 10th of June. It wouldn't annoy me so much if they had been straight up with me at the start. Why tell me I'll have it for the start of May when obviously that was never going to happen. Said RRS is now on order.

Probably because lead times were based on previous sales which had collapsed. Now LR has such a massive sales boost, the delivery times have slipped. I would be pleased. I never factory order, takes way too long.........  2010MY Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE

I heard that the delay to delivery is due to lack of door cards being available due to the manufacturer of these going bump when LR was suffering the no sales syndrome. They struggled to get another manufacturer of the same calibre which knocked most deliveries out by 8 weeks or so. Even heard a rumour you cant evem order a new RRS of Disco 4 in some dealers until they know more about the supply chain issues

nice one Lawrence - i was told 10th June delivery from LR to Belfast, but CH will need it for approx a week by the time they get it in, and do PDI etc, which seems a bit excessive?

I'm not bothered really - would obviously like it as soon as possible, but if it takes another week, then so be it!

i can only assume its gonna be approx the 17th for me, as they dont even have a chassis # yet so I can get my reg put on it.
