Window Tinting

I have privacy glass factory fit, i would like a darker tint on the front side windows, does anyone know if this can be done legally of course Whistle MY10 3.0 HSE Santorini Black, Ivory Premium & extended leather, privacy, paddles, diamond turned alloys, Ipod lead that charges, tasmods, rrsport.co.uk stickers

Jeep 4.0 High Output XJ 94 6" teraflex lift, c/w rear coils, 9500lb winch, 35" TSL super swamper boggers, safari snorkel, custom made bumpers, tom woods custom double cardon driveshaft, twin electric fans. Don't follow it..............you wont make it. The first 4 x 4 by far.

in a word,yes. you obviously know you cant go too dark, any tinter should be able to tell you what is legal limit is, think it is 70% light in, but standard "clear" tint is probably 80-85%. a mate of mine got a pull on a car he bought with tints on front sides, one that he put through 3 mots while he had it, and was fined, he argued that the mot should have picked it up.

From what I understand the windows are already tinted to within a few % of the legal limit, I presume this is the greenish tint of the glass. So adding any tinted film to the fronts you would be in dodgy ground
