marty you do get some smoke when you floor it - shouldn't be loads though, but a little - and you shouldn't see lots of black smoke......but get it checked out if it's a concern |

My X5 used to black smoke like a trooper when you give it a bootfull. so much so that i just had to boot it every time i passed a Prius or a smart, just to wind em up |
