Posts: 19459 | I would not get the rear dvd again - costs too much compared to what else is now available. My preferred solution is to buy 2 ipod touches, portable and a hell of a lot cheaper plus kids can watch different things, a major plus when you have kids who don't agree with each other. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Posts: 24350 | Trouble with the iPod approach is that you've got to decide which DVD you want to watch in the car, rip it onto the iPod etc etc. With real DVD players, you can just grab a bunch of DVDs as you're heading out the door and then the kids also get a choice of a few during journey. You can at least then head off the "but I wanted to watch Return of the Jedi, not Empire Strikes Back!" type meltdowns

That is the slight flaw in my plan! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten 2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed. WINNER - 2009 Idler Of The Year Award Runner Up - 2009 Just Doing What Its Designed To Do Award DO NOT CLICK HERE!
