Replacement brake pads

Are replacement brakes pads (fitted by an LR dealer) manufactured by Ferodo?
Or should the "Land Rover" trademark be visible (without removing)? it's just a blue oil burner

Depends on the model and spec - not all RRS had Brembos, but all S/C's and TDv8's up to 2010MY have them, TDV6 with DR system and 20" wheels from the factory got them too IIRC. Now all RRS "just" get High Performance Brakes, no Brembo stickers on the calipers, just grey painted calipers 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Are these 'high performance brakes' cheaper than Brembos?

My local dealer said the brembos are £100 per disk + labour. Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"

Probably more expensive as they will have the oval and Land Rover cast into them somewhere instead Mr. Green

I will find out in December what the price of new pads and disks might be when the car goes for its 2nd service, I'm sure that I will be told the pads need replacing even after 21k miles and not that much hard braking as I don't do a lot of town driving and when stopped I engage the EPB rather than stand on the footbrake. What I would like are some non rusting hubs for my car though! Lovely wheels, nice brakes and shabby rust marked hubs showing through! Have seen a lot of BMW's and Mercs with the same problem recently as well. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yeah, I agree. My hubs look rusty and the only thing that spoils the appearance. I'm assuming these could be painted easily? Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"
