Can someone confirm what smartphones/Nokia N range will work seamlessly with the bluetooth in my 06 RRS (HSE)?

I'm going today to get new phone so need to know...

So do i need a software upgrade for these to work? Or will they work anyway? WINNER - 2009 Best in Class Range Rover Sport Award

I think these are what works with standard software.
Later software has improved compatibility with more recent phones.

The dealer might charge you for the software update , it takes nearly an hour I think.
If your dealer is friendly or you know someone with an IDS (LR diagnostic computer) , you might get it done cheap /free .

I dont know anyone near you....you should try CHPR service dept and see if they can be kind to you.

I think Rogers of Bedford (LR independent) might be able to do it, I'm not sure if they have autologic or an IDS.

I've got a mate in Bedford with a garage , I'll ask him if he knows anyone around with an ids.

I just called up my local dealership and they said theres many upgrades for all different phones.

So it looks like I need to buy the phone first!

Yep, bit of a ripoff that you have to pay for an entire hours labour.

I found when I had mine it was cheaper to have these upgrades done at service time, whilst they are already fleecing you for other stuff. They're more willing to write off the cost that way - at least in my experience.

On the LRNA web site they have a new interactive query for BT phone compatibility, it seems better than the static pdf listing since they update it in real time as they test new phones, plus you can select your VIN and handset's s/w version to find out what the level of compatibility between the two is: http://www.landroverusa.com/us/en/_popups/...bility.htm Perhaps the UK site has a similar web page somewhere?

Spent the morning at CHPR and they said it cant so went there for nothing!?
