yes it perfectly safe to use LED's they actually use a lot less power and will NEVER trip a fuse, not even close. all the lights on my vehicle are brighter including the very dark tailigts. the bulbs are brigt enough to still makew my tails brighter than the oem tails even with the dark tint.

There are no warnings, but (only) the inside signal goes faster... the outside are just normal. Load resistors do not work on RRS's for some reason. I believe if you use them you'll get a fault message. I've never had this issue I've heard that from someone who tried it. Also if you use a transistor your lights will blink when ever they want, and not in tune they'll be whacked out.

Other thn the interior signal going faster than normal everything is great. After a while you just get used to it going faster and its now normal for me. I have had these bulbs for over a year now with ZERO problems and NO fittng issues

Any chance MO that you can list the bulbs you have fitted?? Thumbs Up

yes mo.

Just looking for the types as there seem to be differing types, i.e. 6 led or 24 led dependant on bulb type!

I am looking to get the best ones as finding out after they ship will involve a whole lot of returns hassle!

Very very cool!

Question though: Is that all legal? I mean; are these bulbs not creating a light actually to powerful, and I would get into trouble in two years when the car has to be checed for the first time, or i would potentially get stopped? I live in Switzerland and know the Polizei here is a bot more on their toes than elsewhere.

MO

I'm interested to hear how reliable the LEDs are - i.e. burn out to blue etc. I've recently been developing LED lighting for a private home build using Luxeon and Cree Leds and although we're using the best available, we are still experiencing failures at a higher rate than I expected.

Interested to hear your experience

Kaine

not one of mine has ever burnt out. LED's should easily outlast the vehicle, the expected life on an LED is ten years for a quality LED. I had 2 PIAA LED's and they dies after about 8 months, I've had these since June 2007 and non have died.

I think as long as you get the proper color for your front turn signal you'll be good. the other bulbs are behind colored plastic so you will be good. they are not so bright that you'll get in trouble or anything.
