In today's Autocar a small item tucked away at the bottom of page 11 reads
"Nearly 300 workers are to be transferred from Land Rover's Solihull plant to Jaguar's Castle Bromwich to keep up with demand for the XF, which has a waiting of 3 monthsand an order book of 22000 vehicles"
So hopefully Jaguar might make some money next year..........................

"Land Rover is considering juggling it's naming system to make room in the range for a Freelander based 7 seater due on sale in 2010/2011." It goes on to say that Disco 3 may be renamed LR4 to allow the new car to be called the LR3 and then at the end states that favoured option for the Uk would be to leave the names as they are and only everywhere else in the world will get a number instead of a name. The 7 seat Freelander is project L486 and Ventura is understood to be the name option for it.......................... I reckon that LR might have a problem with Vauxhall with that one - it's oo close to being the old Vauxhall name 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hmm... seems odd that LR would want to introduce a 7-seat FL. Wouldn't that detract from D3 sales?

I am interested in it, IF they price it right due to the growing family

I have the FL2 SE and if they bring the 7 seat out and can keep to a higher spec model it will be great, or the other option would be a D3 GS but they are a little bit boring and lack spec.
