As my Gas Oil bill is now topping £250/month I am looking into a wind turbine or similar to help bring it down

B&Q sell a Windsave unit which is no good for me. Of course researching elsewhere is obvious - always worth asking on other forums though |

Wind turbines are fine if you have enough wind! Currently running an anemometer on site for a 12 month survey. Surprising how many non windy days there are. Power has a cubic relationship to wind speed and also size of the blades. You want to get the biggest one you can in the windiest spot. Expensive things though!
