Quick update,
managed to get into local indie before my blanking kit arrived, they diagnosed egr's not failing but maybe electrical fault not showing on the diagnostic thing.

| i think it means the screens i think the screen is split in 2 heater wise, 2 fuses, my passenger side don't work . both fuses good, and the driver side is stripey but i can live with that |

As Paddi says, but just to add put a towel or blanket on the car roof to rest the spoiler on when loose to prevent damage to paintwork  |

| yep, did the corroded connector last weekend and happy to say rear heated screen is now clearing, a small thing but quite pleasing |

looking at all the posts on egr issues got me thinking
is it possible to blank the pipes on the top end rather than the end on the egr body ?
or is that not a good idea or just plain : ... |
