Don't these tossers do a vehicle check before it leaves the factory. 
IMHO I think you should communicate with the dealer first

bonnet open will be a dealer issue - take it back and get them to sort it - simple 
Ok , bonnet situation is not the big problem, didn't blow up properly, and is the least of my worries ... |

Well my 07 HSE (3 days old) has Dynamic Response (or at least it has the Dynamic Response Fluid Reservoir under the bonnet and it has fluid in it!)
It looks as if the specifications have gone wrong ... |
