Well I spoke to Land Rover who sent me the audio layout and diagram and my sub is actually in the boot right at the back near the battery. Although mine is a late Dec 2016 it fell into the MY2017 so ...

Reading more it looks like time/date comes from GPS. I recon that must be not working as the car does not know where it is either....

I assume the InControl Pro nav will operate without being log ...
