Never done a TDV8 yet.
Have done a few TDV6, and petrol V8's. Can only imagine the TDV8 would be the same as the petrol V8, as the downpipes take a pretty similar route |

The old sump does not need to be broken to be removed. The transfer box needs raised, and the O/S engine mount needs unbolted and the engine raised up, but it does come out

The only issue you may have is when the tyres were fitted, the rears may not have been balanced, so when they are on the front, you might get a vibration through the steering.

LRE change there pads and discs at the same time frequently
Spoke to the head guy up at LRE in Dunkeld. Said they go through a full set of brake pads in less than 2k miles  |

Gearbox oil is recommended at 150k/10 years, but well worthwhile replacing at 75k. Also consider erplacing the sump/filter assy at the same time.

U024 is a Lost Comms error.
You need to check the rest of the modules for codes, especially the engine module. The suspension lowers because the ECM has gone into limp mode itself.
