If you try and increase the boost pressure manaualy the car may hit a boost limiter and go into limp mode on overboost.

The newer IDS diagnostic tool dont give flash history , this was only on the older T4 system and this dont support the TDV6 and TDV8's so your all safe  |

BDM system sounds interesting but how do you hide the fact that the ecu has to be opened??

This will envolve them removing the ecu.

The 2.7 Litre V6 Diesel Engine Serial Number is stamped on the RH side of the cylinder block, Also remove the plastic cover from the top of the engine its also there on a stainless tag.
