My service guy said he has to plug in the diagnostic kit (Autologic) to programme the Amp to the VIN - which is what Autologic and Land rover said to him too. ???

| I am being told that the Amp has to be specifically coded to the VIN Number. (so does the display) and the only thing which doesn't is the (2nd hand unit which I've already purchased off Ebay) ????? |

So - its not the big unit under the screen - garage says its the Amp (for which I have to pay full whack of £847 + VAT as each Amp (& screen I'm told) is specifically programmed to my vehicle.
