I was wondering how much people have been charged to upgrade their phone software in the RRS. My dealer has just quoted me £160! |

He's having a bubble... I think if you go in specifically, they'll charge you 1 hours labour = £100.

My cars in for warranty work today and just asked them how much for a software update - I think this is far too high especially as when I bought the car the salesman said the system would work with all bluetooth phones. Obviously I ststed my case but to no avail! I think it might be time for a change of service centre. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

The salesman clearly didn't have a clue... we all know the PTI doesn't work with all BT phones and neither is it designed to. Did you show him the pic of you with Keira Knightley and tell him she was your daughter? |

If it doesn't work with some phones, why isn't it a warranty upgrade? We don't get charged for Sat Nav (software / not map) and engine management upgrades. 2022 P440e AB |
