Diesel Fuel Guard

Can anybody tell me if the TDv8 is fitted with the diesel fuel guard ?
(ie. a fuel filler neck system that won't accept petrol nozzles from the pumps)
If this is available can it be retro fitted to TDv6

Yes it is fitted to the TDV8 and I think to all diesel RRS 2007 MY onwards. Retro fitting would depend on whether the nozzle where the cap screws on is joined to the tank with a rubber hose connection or is actually part of the tank itself. Probably the former and therefore can probably be retro fitted. Dealer would be the best people to ask - or LR Customer Service. Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.

might be a worthwhile investment......has to be cheaper than throwing away the injector pump (at my expense) in order to keep the warranty.
