I was aware of this as you have mentioned it before but i have only ever known Brum and although my location shows the middle of town somewhere, i actually live a good 3 mile walk out in the suburbs of Little Brom. I would agree that Birmingham is a nice place. I would also agree that the area is becoming a decreasingly neat and attractive part of Brum in which to habite. I do love Brum but the close proximity of Alum Rock is running my area down but that does not necessarily ring true for the peoples of Bermham, the home of Berm as it was first recorded as in domesday, worth 20 shillings. The point which i am trying to make is that many of you who are part of this discussion seem to be from the East or South from what i can see and i doubt very many of you have been to some of the parts of Birmingham that i have. Cannon Hill Park for example is a place of outstanding beauty and is located within Birmingham, further than mysaelf not not very far from the city centre. The Bull Ring within the city centre itself, a new and exciting shopping complex, the Rotunda, currently being redeveloped into luxury apartments which will sit below below a revoloving restaurant which shall look out over the vast 80 square miles which make up my city. Agree i like nanno too, oh and Mrs E  come to think about it i like every one on here, they all seem very nice people 
But it is nice when they are quiet some of my Previous cars
