DIAGNOSTIC TURBOCHIP UPGRADE VIA OBDII PORT FOR TDV6 ENGINES

We have now developed a totally diagnostic solution for the TDV6 engine.....no removal of the ecu......purely diagnostic at the OBDII port.

The upgrade now takes 30 minutes is fully undetectable to LR software as before.

We also will be able to offer speed limit removal to customers who do not want a power upgrade but would rather their car was unlimited Wink

Give us more details then TC.
Does this mean that the price is cheaper?
What can a TDV6 really do when unrestricted. Matt

I thought the speed limit on the SC was because the tyres couldn't take it? Confused Malaysia Boleh!

Basically we have spent the last 4 months developing a tool to communicate with the canBUS data network on the car and so we can now 'configure' any TDV6 to accept the TC modification as if it were a LR engine management software file.

No, it wont be cheaper but it will be quicker to upgrade and there will be absolutely 'nothing to see' from anyone's point of view....no removing the ecu...we dont even need to lift the bonnet Wink

Officially a RR Sport TDV6 is limited to 120 mph but they are all restricted to either 112 or 115 mph and we can now remove the limiter altogether...the car should do 135mph +

The tyres on UK RRS's are 'overated' and can easily cope with 135 mph

As for the SC versions...watch this space Wink

Huh? 115mph top speed? you're talking in reality at the actual wheels yeah?
I have got mine up to 120mph and slightly above on a few ocassions now(at the speedo), but i know the speedo may be off and you're really travelling slightly below that what the reading says. Isn't the official LR figure 120mph though?
I don't think i would want to go 133mph in my 2.5t RRS, although if i got a good long run,

Oh and i did the above on a private road/track Honest!? Laughing

The RR Sport TDV6 is limited to 190 Kmh (115 mph) and the Disco3 TDV6 to 185kmh (112 mph)....you're a lucky man if you can get it to 120 mph....are you running a standard wheel/tyre set up?

I believe the S/C is limited to 139 mph, (or is it 139 gallons per mile; sometimes I forget).

yep standard 19" HSE wheels, i'll have to get my camera phone out and a long stretch of road and prove it to you then? my speedo is definately showing past the 120 mark, yeah granted its completely out of puff then, but still.. 120 is a whole 5mph above 115mph, although i still think the speedo is probably off and the actual speed at the wheels is probably the claimed 115mph as what you are saying.

Turbochip,

Can your dealers perform this upgrade already, can you also clarify the BHP and lb/s ft of torque as I have noticed a few differing numbers across various adverts/posts etc?

Regards
