looks fiddly, but well done Alan on the solution Brian, can't you come up with something just using a few bits of Velcro? RRS TDV6 Bluetooth, VR, Roof |

Sounds good, I'm a bit lazy so this weekends job is to jump a supply off the Load Space lamp (purple wire) into one courtesy lights, doing away with the green/white wire (+supply) and looping a wire through the headlining to the other courtesy lamp. Minimal trim removal this way. I will let u know if it works and post any pics that may help. |

I looked at this possibilty as it is simple on the right side. But the left side remains to be done, and I personally found it impossible to run a wire overhead behind the roofliner to the left courtesy light. (It might be possible floorwards.) Keep us all updated on your progress, please. I think the best way of all might well be to get a wiring diagram and see how physically close the courtesy light feed comes to the puddle light or cargo space light feed - they may well be in close proximity under the hood/bonnet, near the fuse box, or under the dash. . . . Come for a visit, Victoria is beautiful! |
