   Actually, the stock engine is very tunable in an RS6, if you have the money to spend you can eke about another 150bhp out of it. I'd have plumped for the M5 over an RS6 anytime (imho, the RS6 is starting to get old and look it) but we are all different! I'm sure you'll love owning it.

 *g  quick! I've never driven an M5 or M6 or of the likes so it was new to me but the traction it held was incredible. Pybush roundabout in beaconsfield just off the M40 J2, we took that at 70 no problems 120mph along the dual carriageway hit the anchors and it really pulls your face off.
