Is it windy down there with you guys because Schipol is currently having big delays due to high winds! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Local police know me and the car, but were surprised to find him driving it - they are leading him and a string of other 4x4's across fields to bypass the snarl up! Glad I sent him on an LRE course! He says the RRS is BRILLIANT for when everybody else is stuck, you get priority treatment! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I'm sitting looking out across Heathrow at the moment. Airfield movements don't seem to be slower than normal though.  | ||

Sounds like some sort of washer fluid heater plumbed into the headlight washer feed would be useful??? Iīve had this in the past with normal Halogens so I donīt think it is specifically an RRS or Xenon problem, more likely dependant on the wind chill on the front of the lamp lenses??? Driving to the airport this morning in the dark I encountered a not very clever thing with the RRS Xenons................... in driving snow (we've had 2" fall in the 2 hours it took me to drive the 29 miles to the airport which normally I can do in 40 minutes) the lenses kept getting covered with a wall of snow and there isn't enough heat from the lamps to melt it so they just get dimmer and dimmer so had to stop and clear them every couple of miles. It was OK for the cars behind me as they were getting the spray I kicked up, but being first in the queue isn't nice. Also nearly went off the road as there was ice under the snow/slush................. I was only doing 20mph in snow setting and manually shifting between 2nd and 3rd. Now all filghts from Schipol are delayed due to high wind there so haven't even left the UK yet! I'll get to Hong Kong eventually, just hope the ship hasn't sailed for Korea by that time!
