I bought my Territory as a tow car. Admittedly, it has a boat anchor 4 Speed Auto, however it does its job with a sense of purpose that i have never seen in a car before. My Ford Falcon before that was a manual, so I went through a clutch every 18 months. I take it the RRSes have the ZF 6 Speed auto that the Falcons in Australia have? I think it is the 6HP24 or something. Roses are Red, Violets are Blue. OSX Rocks, Homage to You.

They used Japanese automatic for a while in the Freelander one and also in the FFRR, but with D3 changed to the G-Trag 6 speed auto with "commandshift" manual. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I'll second that - ZF it is. Does anyone know what the maximum torque this can take?

In the Performance Falcons, upwards of 700 Newton Metres, and ~350 Kilowatts, however it is known to take more, however not under any warranty. I am going back to the dealers on Friday. Is there much known about the tuneability of the TDV6? If, as your add says above, If I can gain 50 Kilowatts, then it might be worth my while getting the TDV6, as there are no supply issues with that model. I will have to speak to the dealer.
