That event is an annual one in Russia I believe.
Apart from driving through the lake, offroading in the Argyll forests can be a bit like that if there has been a lot of rain! Last easter I took my 90 on a long weekend up there and we ended up recce-ing a special route for Forest Enterpriise (that's why we get access to explore the forests from them) that they wanted to open for access for timber extraction. We ended up in a similar mud section to the one shown, only it wasn't quite that deep, but it was still up to the top of my 90's wheels for about 1/2 mile. Great fun, but once in the "ditch" we were commited as there were high tree covered banks on each side
I hope to take the RRS over the drives in Argyll in the summer while my Def is seeing the chassis doctor, but I won't be doing bits like that! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
