2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Leaking rear hatch seal

Went out to the Sport this morning to find the roller-blind over the load area has water puddles on it, it is coming in through the seals because there are more water drops on the rubber seal waiting to drip off. I noticed this a couple of weeks ago but thought it was because I had had the hatch open in heavy rain. The car has sat on the drive for a week and hasn't been unlocked in that time...................

Dealer wants the car for 3 days........................... "to carry out extensive water testing" to see if it is the satnav aerial slot or the door/hatch seal. It isn't the aerial hole leaking because the roof lining would be wet and it isn't wet anywhere and you can see where the water is dripping off the seal onto the roller blind thingy. While they were looking at the seals I had a drive of their £75000 FFRR S/C in Rimini with Alpacca and parchment interior - one could get used to such luxury but not at that price! They have another FFRR S/C 2006 MY late plate in Tonga with Charcoal interior, low miles and 2nd hand - £54000. £20k depreciation in 6 months + the cost of fuel ooooooouch! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

You want to watch out they don't do what Clarkson does on his latest DVD and fills a car with water to test the shutlines on some dodgy old Yank tank Wink
