The sport went in recently for bodyshop attention under warranty - that dealer has called me today informing me recalls A034 & 36 are outstanding and I need to call local dealer to arrange. Apparently they relate to Software upgrades for fuel gauge accuracy, diagnostics, smoother engine running, improved auto change and others that I didn't note.

I think A034 & 36 are the vehicle enhancement programme. |

This is the "short" list of services and enhancements performed with those two action bulletins (they are not quite recalls) in North America. Basically, B034 is air suspensions related, B036 is everything else... The list may be slightly different in the UK - for instance, any diesel-specific enhancements are not included in North America, since we ain't got any

If you PM me your email addy I can send you the complete North America version of the campaign in PDF format. I warn you though, it is long and boring... You can download it from landrovertechinfo.com, but you gotta pay for it. |

Had the work done yesterday and it was also due a service - got a call mid morning 'break pads won't make next service' (but are good for around 6000 miles still) did I want them doing - declined as I'd rather get the wear out of these but quote was for £335, is that reasonable ?!??!

I had to have new pads all round at my first service... £335 is about right I think, I seem to remember it added around £300 to the bill, the dirty, money grabbing bastids. |

I forget how the cost broke down - I think it was only 1hrs labour (@£100/hr) so the parts were probably more expensive. I'm sure it could've been done cheaper... |
