TDV8 vs 6

Just been checking out some of the write ups on the TDV8 and quote:

"So what does all of this equate to on the road? Well pure genius really. 640 newtons of pulling power and 200kW give the new Sport enough balls to shunt to 100km/h in 9.2 seconds. Not that impressed? Don’t be silly. It does this and still returns an average diesel consumption of 11.1 litres per 100km. How can you go wrong? I ask you with tears in my eyes."

DMS are quoting 0-100 in 8.8 for the TDV6 and i'm sure the others co's won't be far behind!? Will be getting the stopwatch out on the w-end but does this mean a chipped 6 is faster than the new flagship Cool

Unless you chip the TDV8. Sorry but the TDV8 is better than any chipped TDV6. It will handle better too with the same suspension set up as the SC. Makes it worrying too that the V8 has uprated brakes, what does the chipped car have????

'07 TDV6 HSE's have the Brembo's as std too - may just be LR standardising on the Brembo setup... but I think the discs are the same size Brembo or not??? Cheers
