I did that when Merc told me that a B service for the SL will cost £1000 and then when i rang another stealer just as far from me quoted £450 all in!


I then rang back and spoke to the manage and ask how they can justify that price? and after all the work they have had from me. She just said that their spreadsheet was crouped the new price is now £650 Laughing

You can guess what i said to her

Hey, great advice Tim. I'll try it on with my local dealer.

JayMan, the first thing I did was make a donation. Frankly, I have learned so much from this forum than I could ever hope to learn from any Land rover salesman.
So once again, thanks guys. I'll be getting the RRSport sticker , umbrella and anything else going at the shop. 2006 4.4 HSE, Java black, Alpaca beige int, super charged grill and vents, dvd headrest, fridge, bluetooth, etc
Fully colour coded as per overfinch spec.
Overfinch twin exhaust tips, 22" overfinch supersport wheels.
