Get a Defender already fitted with with winch front and back, rear diff lock, Jungle Trekker Tyres, snorkel, full roll cage, CB, GPS, every recovery toy known to man, more scars than a pox ridden lady of the night, etc etc, blah, blah. You can then do proper offroading without worrying about cosmetic damage (inevitable wherever there are trees, big rocks, tight channels and very deep water) and know your shiny RRS will still get you home and/or to work the next day. Better still get a full trailer to take said Defender anywhere for play time, and you can even get it home after breaking assorted CV's, half shafts, diffs and / or drop arm jangle pins....

Posts: 19459 | The winch is going to be put on the only question is when. My RRS has been used offroading, I enjoy offroading and the RRS with all the offrading bits on will stand out far more than a standard RRS! | ||
